A questo sviluppo hanno contribuito in particolare l'intensa ricerca e il rapido sviluppo nei settori dei materiali, del design delle superfici e della cura restaurativa. Sono gi\u00e0 disponibili dati scientifici a breve e medio termine, a cui devono seguire ulteriori studi. \u00c8 importante valutare correttamente questi dati, interpretarli correttamente e classificarli per un'applicazione pi\u00f9 ampia, trasportarli in modo oggettivo e metterli in pratica con le conoscenze di base.
